Trailhead, a non-denominational Christian church acquired this building in downtown Edwardsville, Illinois. It is an excellent example of repurposing space for community use.
Originally built in the 1920’s as a Masonic Lodge, the church hired us to redesign the interior to function as a full service church building. The redesigned facility is complete with classrooms and childcare facilities and a kitchen in the lower level, a main floor sanctuary, and church offices located on the second level.
The total building footage is estimated at 10,500 square feet and the grand opening service was held on Sunday September 11 2016.
